RYTECH & NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA CPCU—Annual Charity Golf Tournament!

You can read about Rytech Restorations’ approach to “Partnerships” in IT’S ABOUT PARTNERS—A Proven Approach To Success.  There are many such ventures by Rytech, some strategic, some exclusively altruistic, some a little of both.

One that seems to check all the boxes is Rytech joining with the CPCU Society of North Central Florida--providing the Title Sponsorship for the Annual Charity Golf Tournament in October and benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The connections are more than just the obvious.  For example, Rytech is a major supporter of certifications and credentialling generally--for most any profession, but…particularly the important work of water, mold, smoke and fire remediation.  Rytech’s technicians, franchise owners, and corporate staff are certified in their fields by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).

Concurrently, the designation “Certified Property & Casualty Underwriter” (CPCU) is the most difficult to obtain and the most respected certification in the entire property and casualty field.  2022 marks the 78th Anniversary of the national CPCU Society.

The credentialling connection is only backdrop for Rytech’s Title Sponsorship of the North Central Florida’s CPCU Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Scheduled for October 6th it helps the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Florida (RMHC) reduce stress and financial burden for families traveling far from home to access medical care for their children.

Rytech has supported this event for the past 7 years and as Title Sponsors the last 2 years. Of course, there’s plenty of promotional benefit, but… it’s the RMHC families that matter here.

The opportunity to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida, which provides assistance to families while their children are receiving treatment at the Children’s Hospital is fully aligned with our company’s Mission of helping families, theirs and ours. It’s an honor to support such an admirable cause, and we look forward to the event each year.”

 2021 Putting practice

Credit for organizing goes to Jason Neville, CPCU. As a Past President of the North Central Florida CPCU Chapter and a “long time” board member, his hard work typically yields major fund raising.

Since 2010 the total raised for charity has been $227,000--this year will probably add another $25,000--Ronald McDonald House has been receiving the CPCU contributions since 2015.

Testament to its’ altruism is that even though the tournament and related functions were cancelled in 2020 due to COVID, a total of $11,000 was still raised.  That was prelude to a rebound in 2021 which set a new all-time tournament contribution record of $32,500.

Reports for this year reveal somewhere around 26 insurers, water firms, adjusters, companies, and agents will be participating in a charity golf tournament with over 120 players.

Rytech Restoration, The North Central Florida Chapter of the CPCU Society and all those devoted to professional credentialling and worthy causes like the RMHC, look forward to yet another banner Charity Golf Tournament in 2022.
