In partnership with The Donna Foundation, we here at Rytech are fighting to end breast cancer. How?
We have joined the 26.2 with DONNA " a local Northeast Florida race which raises funds to end this deadly disease.
Why is the breast cancer fight so important to us here at Rytech? Because it touches us all. The American Cancer Society estimates that one in every eight women have invasive breast cancer during their life.
Here at Rytech, we specifically chose to partner with The Donna Foundation because of its close ties to our community. The Donna Foundation was formed to specifically raise funds for individuals living with breast cancer on the First Coast. They're the women you pass at the grocery store and the ones you see on the playground with their kids.
Since the 2008 inaugural 26.2 with DONNA race, more than $3 million has been raised. One of the unique things about this race is all of the proceeds go directly to fight to end breast cancer. Seventy percent of the funds are donated to the breast cancer research center at the Mayo Clinic and 30 percent go to The Donna Foundation to assist breast cancer patients in need of critical financial support.
